What is Wapi?
Wapi - WordPress AI Copilot is an AI assistant that lets you manage your WordPress sites through simple conversation. Instead of navigating complex menus, you describe what you want to do and Wapi executes it for you.
How does Wapi work?
- You install the Wapi plugin on your WordPress site
- You create an account on wapigpt.ai and connect your site
- You access GPT Wapi via ChatGPT
- You describe your actions in natural language
- Wapi executes the actions on your WordPress site
Do I need an OpenAI account?
Yes, an OpenAI account (free or paid) is required. GPTs are accessible to all users. ChatGPT Plus offers faster models, but is not mandatory.
Credits & Pricing
What is a WU (Wapi Unit)?
A WU (Wapi Unit) is our credit unit. Each action consumes between 0 and 3 WU depending on its complexity. For example, reading a post costs 1 WU, creating a post costs 2 WU.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes! The Free plan gives you 100 WU per month, no credit card required. That's enough to test Wapi and perform occasional tasks.
What are WUX (permanent credits)?
WUX are permanent credits that never expire. They are automatically used when your monthly quota is exhausted (if you enable this option). Ideal for usage spikes.
What is the Lifetime offer?
Lifetime offers are one-time payments that give you unlimited access for life: unlimited WU, all features, lifetime updates. Once you've paid, you never have to pay again.
Security
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. All communications are encrypted (HTTPS). Your API tokens are hashed in the database. We are hosted in Europe and GDPR compliant.
Can Wapi break my site?
Sensitive actions (deletion, plugin/theme updates) are disabled by default and require explicit activation in the plugin settings. Additionally, "dry run" mode allows you to preview actions before execution.
Can I revoke access?
Yes, at any time. You can regenerate your API token from the dashboard, or simply disable the WordPress plugin.

Which WordPress versions are supported?
Wapi supports WordPress 5.0 and above, with PHP 7.4 minimum (PHP 8.x recommended).
Does Wapi work with WooCommerce?
Yes! Wapi includes 8 dedicated WooCommerce actions: product management, categories, search, and full catalog export.
Can I manage multiple sites?
Yes, depending on your plan. The Free plan allows 1 site, Pro+ allows 3 sites, Business 10 sites, and Agency 50 sites. You can switch between your sites directly in the conversation.
